The Icelandic Ministry of Health (Icelandic: Heilbrigðisráðuneytið) was a cabinet-level ministry within the government of Iceland. Since 1 October 2009, the minister has been Álfheiður Ingadóttir of the Left-Green Movement. January 1 2011 the ministry merged with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Security to form Ministry of Welfare.
